Alien able to prove hardship to his United States Citizen so he will receive green card.

The firm of Cella & Associates was able to win a case in Elizabeth, New Jersey for a Mexican national who had entered across the border in 1999 and had been in the United States since then by proving that deporting him would result in exceptional and extremely unusual hardship to his 2 United States born children. One of the children had a heart condition and the alien was able to prove that he needed to be in the United States to take care of him. The alien was granted cancellation of removal, which is a defense against deportation once you are in immigration court proceedings.
