DACA RENEWALS ARE GETTING CLOSE!
What you need to know to renew your DACA Application
The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals “DACA” policy was signed by President Obama on June 15, 2012 and allows certain undocumented aliens to stay in the United States and obtain a work permit temporarily despite their illegal entry as children.
For those applicants who were approved in late 2012 and early 2013, you should start planning for your DACA renewal now to ensure that you will not have a lapse in your lawful presence or employment authorization (work permit).
Per USCIS, DACA renewal applications should be submitted approximately 4 months before your current period of DACA expires, but no earlier than 5 months.
If you are nearing the expiration of your deferred action or have any questions on the process, contact the Attorneys of Cella and Associates, LLC.
