On November 7, 2024, The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas vacated the Keeping Families Together (KFT) parole process in its final judgment for State of Texas v. Department of Homeland Security (Case No. 24-cv-306). This decision nullifies the KFT parole process established in August 2024.
Immediate Implications:
– USCIS will no longer adjudicate pending Form I-131F applications, and the intake of new applications has ceased.
– Future Application Support Center appointments for filed Form I-131F are canceled, and walk-ins for such appointments will not be accommodated.
– All external engagements related to the KFT process have also been canceled.
USCIS plans to provide further details on managing pending cases and processing paid application fees in the coming days.
