Summarized from USCIS

A new family reunification parole process will implement an invitation procedure to certain nationals and their families from Honduras, Guatemala, Columbia and El Salvador in the coming months. Certain nationals, (through their sponsors), from these countries who have approved family-based petitions (I-130) will receive invitations to be considered for parole into the United States while awaiting visas. The United States will issue travel authorizations to vetted nationals who will then be eligible to apply for work authorization. Along with these changes, the existing family reunification parole process for Haitians and Cubans will be expanded.
United States citizens and lawful permanent resident petitioners may receive invitations to apply for parole on behalf of their beneficiaries. This program is by invitation only and invitations have not been issued at this time. Updates should be forthcoming in mid-June.
