Secretary Mayorkas Extends and Redesignates Temporary Protected Status for Sudan and Ukraine

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced an 18-month extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Ukraine, from October 20, 2023, through April 19, 2025, due to the ongoing armed conflict and extraordinary temporary conditions in Ukraine that hinder individuals from safely returning.
Additionally, the Department also announced an 18-month extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Sudan, from October 20, 2023, through April 19, 2025, due to the extraordinary and temporary conditions in Sudan that prevent individuals from safely returning.
