The Mexican states of Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas are dealing with a water shortage due largely to severe drought conditions. Both states house thousands of asylum-seekers. McAllen Texas, through their Chamber of Commerce, is accepting bottled water donations to truck to Nuevo Leon.
The city of Nuevo Leon has announced that some areas of the state may have water supplies shut off from 6pm until 6am until water supplies can be found.
